If you ever need a lime to cheer you up

Life gives you lemons, they say. Then they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
But life also gives you limes.
They might look like unripe lemons, but they're still limes.
But then they still say you can't make limes into lemonade.
But look at it this way, because sometimes in life, these limes are the special fruits--the fruits that don't become used by people to be turned into lemonade. And you are a lime. You're the one-of-a kind fruit of life. You're the diversity that we all need, and you have qualities that lemons lack. You bring fresh juice into the situation when things get stagnant and hit dead ends.
When other people can squeeze the juice of a lemon, and take away the best part of it that's also its life force to make lemonade, you'll be left untouched. Perhaps you're so unique that no one's found a reasonable excuse to take away your insides, sap you of your energy, and erase who you are. So find your path, your personal journey, as a lime in this world full of lemons. Look for the green light for the go amidst all the yellow lights cautioning you to prevent you from taking risks to be yourself.
And then you'll make it through by seeing the little things that life gives you, contrary to what everyone says, and become someone with an identity.

Celebrate DeviantArt's 15th Birthday!As DeviantArt enters its 15th year on the Internet, we want to take a moment before blowing out our candles to thank the community for allowing us the honor of hosting the site that you call your home for art. After all, it's the community's 15th birthday, too, and in the past few months, we've been making it our top priority to share with you our plans for the future, celebrate the successes of our past, and look to you for guidance on how best we can serve each of you while entering this new phase of DeviantArt's existence.

okay I became the formatting fanatic I usually am hence the numbering and everything.
01. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
Almost two years since November 1, 2013!
02. What does your username mean?
Ciel in French means sky and iseka is a made-up word in which Google Translate says it means "mockery" in some language apparently. I "borrowed" the name from someone because the phonetics of the two words sounded nice together-- the mirrored eees and seee sounds of both "is-" and "ci-" in Isekaciel. Additionally my initials are YC which is (mostly) phonetically similar to IC (iseka-ciel).
03. Describe yourself in three words.
Off the top of my head (although some certain people may not agree): pensive, idealistic maverick
04. Are you left or right handed?
Right-handed! Tried to become ambidextrous twice at two points of my life by practicing with my left hand but it never caught on.

I actually made that a year before I made this dA and it was the first thing I had on hand so yeah. Need to redo this one day.
06. What is your favourite type of art to create?
Haven't really determined my own style yet because I got sick of doing these forms:
07. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Rendering and animating things in Blender without having to go through all the tedious tutorials!
Which also means that I don't have to paint anymore in Photoshop nor do I need a tablet anymore ;___;
Tried once to do mountain-y slopes and that took forever to do.

Friends' works; digital painting; fanart (had to go all the way to yuumei's gallery to remember what that term was oops); and sometimes works that have
meanings hidden under the surface.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
has been a great inspiration as she broadened my views of environmentalism and cyber activism through her works, which are the source of the only reason I really pay attention to news on those two topics these days. What really amazes me is that she shows that art can really speak and can be a medium used to advocate things; it's not just a flat depiction of some already existent objects.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Going traditionally: Any brand of 0.35mm black pen, plain white printer paper
Otherwise if it's digital: Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, Painttool SAI
All my digital works are done with a mouse.
On a related note: Strictly speaking, anything is probable, just that not everything is probable. So technically anything is accomplishable with any medium or
tool you have; don't complain about your tools or you won't get anywhere, although it may take more effort to get there.
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
At home; never really tried any place else? What really motivates me is the span of time after I hit a spiritual nadir after failure. Personally, that span of time is the best moment to capture the conflicts I experience as a person onto paper before they fly away. This is also the reason I fail quite miserably at capturing a vision I have on any given day onto paper because I have no motivation or, loosely speaking, emotions attached to it.

What comes to mind right now:
- getting to get a dA
- the epiphany of discovering that had a dA all along coughcoughcough
